Installation
GM Numbering is a simple 'set and forget' kind of plugin, in that all you need to do is install and activate the plugin in the normal way, and that's it!
Upon activation, nested ordered lists will appear in the classic editor, block editor, Gravity Forms rich text paragraph field, and on the front end, as hierarchical numbering, as you can see below.
Note: If you're using this plugin, we strongly recommend using the classic editor instead of the block editor, because the block editor does not handle nested ordered lists nearly as well as the classic editor (you can get things to work in the block editor, but it's fiddly and time-consuming in comparison to the classic editor).
